Child Care Programs
Five Stars provide care for children from 6 months to 5 years old, offering a program that is designed to support the developmental needs of each age group. Our activities are carefully tailored to be age-appropriate, ensuring that both infants/toddlers and preschoolers are engaged, stimulated, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
For Infants and Toddlers (6 months to 2 years)
Our program focuses on fostering early developmental milestones through sensory play, motor skill development, and socialization. Activities include:
• Tummy time and motor skill exercises to support physical development.
• Sensory exploration with soft textures, colorful toys, and safe objects to stimulate curiosity and hand-eye coordination.
• Interactive songs and simple finger plays to introduce language development and encourage early communication.
• Safe space for crawling and walking where children can practice physical skills in a supportive environment.
• Gentle social interaction, including group playtime, to promote early socialization with peers.
For Preschool-Aged Children (3 to 5 years):
Our preschool program builds on cognitive, emotional, and social development, with more structured activities that encourage problem-solving, creativity, and independent learning. Activities include:
• Storytime with interactive elements, where children are encouraged to engage with books and participate in discussions.
• Art and craft projects that help develop fine motor skills and creativity, such as painting, cutting, and drawing.
• Play-based learning centers with activities like building with blocks, dramatic play, and puzzles that stimulate imagination and critical thinking.
• Early math and literacy activities, such as sorting games, letter recognition, and counting.
• Outdoor exploration with activities that encourage gross motor skills, like running, jumping, and climbing in a safe and supervised environment.
• Social-emotional learning through group activities that teach sharing, empathy, and teamwork.
